The C-Face Motor cover is a clamshell style cover that surrounds the C-Face motor used on direct drives.  The cover mounts using the same bolts that attach the motor to the gearbox flange.  This cover provides additional protection against the elements in harsh environments and can extend the lifespan of the electric motor.  The bottom part of the cover contains holes to allow condensate and moisture out by gravity.  The cover also features an opening for electrical wire or conduit to reach the strain relief of the electric motor.
