Covers for the E-Gear Series
The AMS E-Gear has two available plastic covers, the Tophat Cover and the C-Face Motor Cover.
C-Face Motor Cover (AMS Part # 11200)
The C-Face Motor Cover surrounds the electric motor and mounts using the same bolts that attach the motor to the gear flange. Boat House style installations or stainless steel motors may omit this cover.
Tophat Cover (AMS Part # 11210)
The Tophat Cover is used to protect the gear hub from corrosion. It attaches with (2) stainless steel 1/4"-20 x 1/2" hex head bolts. If the E-Gear is mounted mid-pipe, this cover will not be usable.
